Healthcare Marketing & Strategy

Over the past 23 years, Angela has worked in engineering, marketing and general management roles across multiple industries – including business consulting, motorcycle manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (food/beverage/paper), healthcare, medical laboratory testing and medical devices.

Angela’s journey began as an engineer for the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, but she relocated to Chicago when she was accepted into the prestigious MBA program at the University of Chicago. Earning her MBA in Marketing and working full-time at Sara Lee enabled her to shift into Consumer Packaged Goods.

After 10 years of classical marketing and general management training at Sara Lee, PepsiCo and Kimberly-Clark, she took on a new challenge with the world-renowned Mayo Clinic to apply those classical marketing skills in a much needed place, the troubled healthcare industry. After Angela ascended from individual marketing contributor, to creating a new marketing team and ultimately to the VP of Marketing for Mayo Clinic Laboratories, she knew it was time for the next challenge: She turned to the Medical Device industry and took a role establishing Cantel’s commercialization strategy for Ambulatory Surgery Center’s. Turning the business unit around in less than 8 months, she was then asked to lead the largest business unit in Cantel’s Medical sector. After Cantel was acquired, Angela followed Cantel executives to Laborie where she is now the leader of the OB/GYN/NICU franchise.

Angela holds a B.S. degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Marquette University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, with a concentration in marketing and strategy.
